    SAG Stops

IMO SAG stops are always fantastic! It's more about the volunteers giving their time to help sweaty MAMILs not completely fall apart between the stops. I don't typically stop as most rides can be done on 3ish bottles which i can pack on me. There is always food and water, I'm not sure what...

The simple answer is there's a lot more people interested in coaching football/basketball/baseball, there is just less people in the area to coach MTB rides.

    Southern Illinois Cycling...

More bike infrastructure, bike rentals (especially in the vienna/tunnel hill area), people organizing/attending group rides for newer riders/people not wanting to ride 20+ mph. My wife leads the C group from BS-carterville, and that group is regularly growing with new riders. She and Trish work...

    Mountain Biking Team for Kids

Those are NICA teams. There has been talks of trying to get a NICA team here in southern illinois. The problem is population in the area is too low. Lot's of our youths go ride for either SEMO mudcats or McCracken.

    Rides and race scheduling

They're far enough apart, spokes is an hour for me and tour de donut is 2 hours in the other direction. TdD draws a different crowd than spokes tbh.
