What are doing to stabilize your cycling video footage?

Are any of you using different tricks, settings, or equipment for this?

I don't stabilize past whatever my gopro has built in
I used to not.

However, I've invested in the new GoPro gimbal.

Why?

Because low light and the GoPro onboard stabilization don't get along. The footage becomes jittery and hard to watch when filming in nature where a thicker canopy exists or it's getting dark out.

With a gimbal, everything is being done externally, and it becomes even more smooth.
