Welcome to Bike Southern Illinois, a free online community dedicated to cycling discussions and promotion in Southern Illinois. In order to maintain this as a free community that is inviting to all people, we’ve developed some commonsense rules that must be followed by everyone and at all times.

By using this forum, you agree to adhere to the following guidelines:

1. You will not insult other members on the community or people off the community.
2. You will not use the community to harass anyone at any time.
3. You will not make threats of any kind on this community.
4. You may have one account and one account only.
5. You will not troll (join to cause trouble) on this community.
6. You will not use this community to spam something.
7. You may debate unless it becomes abusive or inappropriate.
8. You may not post adult-rated content and media.
9. You may not use this forum unless you are 13 years of age or older.
10. You may not use this forum to knit pick or to be constantly negative.
11. You may not use this forum as a backseat moderator.
12. You will refrain from using aggressive profanity.
13. You will not post the same topic over and over again intentionally.
14. You will not get off topic in on topic discussions.
15. You will only publish content in English.
16. You will not conduct or promote illegal activity on this community.

The guidelines above are really just common sense and expected from you on practically any website or online community where multiple people can join.

Failure to abide by these simple guidelines will result in warnings, suspensions, and even bans.

Members are encouraged to report suspicious activities even if they’re unsure it’s a rule violation or not.
