I heard in some cases.
But in the parts where it was blowing you back was a bit tiring.
I can't really blame the winds too much though because I didn't train for it and that's my fault lol
I think I rode in 28 degrees once.
It was road biking around Lake Murphysboro. So, as you know, the hills warmed me up quick.

I think allowing a specific amount at first and then increasing participation allowance might be ideal!
I bet even the local Friends and Tourism groups would help fund/promotion it.
If we pondered this idea...
As we all know, Highway 13 is practically getting a paved bike trail all the way through except maybe past Marion or Murphysboro.
But it looks like it could be a nice road biking experience once it's finished.
Will any of you use it for that or will you stick to riding on 13?
I'd rather take my bike to the shop than deal with it even just to refill the tubeless stuff LOL
Last time I tried to fix a broken spoke, I did about $700 worth of fixing. So, I'll let the experts do that.
I do have a goal to buy a cheap used bike and learn how to fix and replace everything on...
