Starting in Carbondale through campus on Douglas Drive to Pleasant Hill west until it curves right and connects with Chautauqua and turns east is a nice short loop with low traffic and an interesting mix of farm fields and forest. There's some cool trailheads on the southwest side and Dutch Ridge Road is a fun road too around there. Sometimes I'll take Green Ridge back to Union Hill if I go the other direction around the loop and cut south.
